Using Visio for mapping value networks, tangibles, and intangibles

An important part of Verna's work with value networks and intangible transactions is the diagram. A sample is below.

We make them in Visio, but the new application, ValueNetworks.com™, will be automating them now!

For years, we used standard autoshapes until I created the 3D ovals shown in this map.

Diagrams for Presentations

I love to make animated and unanimated diagrams for presentations.

This one below animates beautifully but I am showing it here in two unanimated versions. This is Verna's Intangibles Framework, and we have drawn it and used in presentations for many years. It evolved a lot and then for a long time it looked like the one on the left. Then, when I got CS2 at home, I made new shapes in Illustrator. The slide background on the right is my design.

Graphs for Reports

Steve's work involves projects all over the world and a project often results in a 50+ page report. I format some of these reports, from nearly raw text. Sometimes, if I am lucky, I get to make a few graphs, such as the pie chart at the top of this page. [bar chart]
