Copyediting

I am a member of and membership co-chair of the Bay Area Editors' Forum. In 2001 I took a 6-month course, "The Versatile
Copyeditor." I use the Chicago University Press Manual of Style. For my customers I don't try to remember all the rules, but
focus on consistency and clarity - which is what they need from me.

In 2003, Verna and a colleague, Dinesh Chandra co-edited a book, True Wealth and How Do We Create It, published by Indigo
Press in India. I was honored to copyedit and select art for this unique collection of essays, quotations, and poetry, including
an interview with HH the Dalai Lama.
